Frequently Asked Questions
History
  • How much is tuition?
So often, those who wish to learn more about the Bible or those who wish to preach are not able to afford formal schooling.  In providing a free education, MTSP eliminates this potential hindrance to the furtherance of the Gospel.  Thanks to the elders of the College Grove congregation, who generously allow the use of their facilities for classes, and to contributions received by generous donors, a student needs only a pen, a writing tablet, and a readiness to learn.
  • What does it take to graduate from MTSP?
Upon the completion of thirty-six units, one will receive a diploma from MTSP.  For men choosing to pursue the Middle Tennessee School of Preaching diploma, specific courses will be required.  Women or men who complete the thirty-six units required for graduation will be eligible to receive the Middle Tennessee School of Biblical Studies diploma.

  • Does MTSP accept credits from other institutions?

Yes. At the discretion of the school's director, up to a maximum of twenty units of Bible credit may be accepted for transfer from another school of preaching, school of Biblical studies, Bible college, or Christian university.  We carefully review and discuss with each student previous work, present opportunities and future plans.  Feel free to ask!  We are here to help!
